Complete N00b

Hey everyone. I have never grown and am not familiar with the whole process at all, but would like to start growing, or at least attempt it.

I have done a fair amount of reading, and I of course will continue to do so. There is just so darn much information, I just don't know where to start. I will be growing outside, and I will start this in the spring of 2010. The soil here is great for growing vegetable gardens and other things, so I believe its a good place to grow outdoors.

I want to grow a little bit, 5-10 plants worth? Enough to keep me taken care of through the year.

Any suggestions on where to start and any specific outdoor growing guides or suggestions?

Starting point for outdoor

1st off let me start by welcoming u to the 420magazine community. There are many valuable resources from thread (u can search using the search feat in the mid upper right portion of the screen) as well as an excellent staff, and a host of knowledgeable members. Now to ur question. This forum is an excellent staring point How to Grow Marijuana - 420 Magazine The how to covers most basic aspects of growing. The other threads are geared more toward specifics. After u take a look there, I suggest that u begin viewing completed journals. These are documented accounts of members grow (most often) from start to finish. Just peruse them until U find an outdoor grow. Sonzor and Dirtfarmer are 2 members whose outdoor grows I've been following that are still in progress. Swampgas is another member. I believe he has indoor and outdoor. These are a few that I'm enjoying. I hope this helps.
