Hi Guys !

Today, if my girlfriend maked some latte after J, She asked me would i like to use used mokapot coffe as compost in my plants soil.

I googled it, and some peoiple use coffe as compost.

Any ideas , woud be helpfull somehow ?

Re: Coffe into soil ?

I don't add anything unless I have a reason/plan for it. I don't throw stuff in the soil just 'cuz I have it.
Anything organic should be pre-composted before adding it, IMO.

Re: Coffe into soil ?

The used mokapot coffe can be used as compost; but that means putting it on a compost pile and waiting for it to become part of the compost, not putting it straight into your plant's soil.

Re: Coffe into soil ?

Ye coffee grounds only & best composted with other organic material.

Normally NPK ratio is 1, 0.3, 0.3 but my varie on type of bean or where it came from etc & more or less a near neutral PH value as well.
