co2 meters

I just got a TIM8 c02 meter from co2meter . It's cool - it measures co2 and humidity. Yes, a person or dog causes c02 to rise pretty fast in the room.

Anyway it's cool to see. Also, it can be used to test how fast the plants are growing by how fast the co2 level drops.

I've been saying all along to people on here that they could get a lot of co2 from breathing deep in their room.
Congrats on the meter. how much was it?

isn't ther a fairly cheap kit for co2 thats like litmis with a color compare chart not as accurate but way way less $$

where did you get meters ?

I got the meter from the co2meter web site. It does continuous readings for Co2 and humidity. Normally, the room is at about 700ppm but working in there it goes up to 1000ppm. The meter has alarms that can be set - anyone thinking of adding co2 should monitor the level, you can knock yourself out (or worse) if you aren't careful.

I don't know about test strips, but they wouldn't give continuous readings or have alarms.

Fantastic. I've been looking for a CO2 meter for awhile now. The cheapest one I've found so far was about $500 which I wasn't willing to pay. This price is much better.
