Pueblo County, Colorado - Pueblo County commissioners are expected to vote Monday on a proposal that would use more marijuana taxes to fund road projects.

The proposal would use another $200,000 of marijuana tax money for road repair projects in Pueblo West. If passed, it would be the second year in a row the Pueblo County Board of County Commissioners has passed a budget to use money from the county's retail marijuana sales tax revenues for road projects in the Pueblo West Metro District.

Last year, the district used the tax money for chip seal road repairs along Linden Avenue between Sweetwater and Greenway and along South Purcell Boulevard.

This year's money would replace the entire length of the gravel road on Juanita Springs Drive, Russet Drive and Laramie Avenue.
