CMH with a MH ballast? Yes!

Went to Welcome To Advanced Technology Solutions ~ Lighting Divison to see how much the rebuild kit I wanted went up in price ($10), and on the home page there was a link for a new Phillips CMH bulb that will work with a magnetic MH ballast.

Perhaps I won't need to redo my MH to HPS.

The link says something like 'want CMH but have a MH ballast?', down towards the bottom of the home page.

Same here, but apparently Phillips now has a bulb that will run off a mag MH ballast also.

i did. that was the exact same website that i got my original info from, only a couple of mos. ago. this stuff is changing so fast i'm having a hard time keeping up. LOL! i hate gettin' old.

LOL, yeah, same deal here. I visited the site last Oct or Nov checking out HPS ballast kits. Went back to check on price increases and the new bulb was there.

"Mothers Little Helper" keeps running in my head .... "What a drag it is getting old ..."
