Clones with great roots, not growing

Start with my Mango Clone Journal.
It has pictures and my last post explains the problem.

I have had 8 clones that I got to root.
4 bottom cuttings and 4 top cuttings.
All grew huge beautiful super white root systems.
But 7 out of 8 never grew new leaves.

The 8th was sickly until I put it outside.
It shot up in size and started flowering almost immediately.

I've grown 3 large plants from seed in the same amount of time.

Logic tells me the sunlight is the solution.
But the clones have been under 8 T5s since they rooted.
They have tons of light and are 4-5 inches from the lights.

Can someone tell me what is wrong?

this is very odd. the only thing I can think of is your soil temps might be too low. The sun will raise your soil temps up. so check the temp of the soil. Hope this helps.

Soil temps run from 78 - 80
What's a good temp?

I had been using baby formula on them after rooting.
1/4 strength nutrients.

My hydro girl says that I should be feeding them "teen" formula (half strength) after they take root and that they may just not have had enough nutrients to do anything more than grow great roots. She also said I should lower the T5s to within 2 inches after they root.

Anyone agree with that?

Hello
your soil temp is in the proper range. Yes try and lower your lights to see if that will help.
The only other thing I can think of is maybe bad genetics?? you seem to be doing everything right so far.

The hydroponics store says the roots are too warm.
They said the cooler the roots are, the faster they root.

So, as usual, I get completely opposite advice from different sources.
I'm at the point where I have to laugh.
Or shoot myself.
Hahahahah

Same with the seed germination.
One person tells me to put them in a cool place, somebody else says put them in a warm place.
It's a conspiracy.
A plot to steal my soul and give it to the gingers.
