Clones falling over?

Ok, when I take cuttings for clones, I use a 'bubbler' cloner....when the roots get pretty long, is when I plant them in soil...they droop over!! The hit the dirt!! Most of the time they come back to life, but I do lose a few

Is this normal?

Sounds like shock. Sometimes you do lose a couple of clones due to transplant shock, infection, not enough/too much rooting solution, etc. there's a wide range of things that can go wrong.
It might be that the soil has too much nutes so the shock to the young clone is too much.
Honestly I don't know anything about bubble cloners, I clone mine using rockwool cubes and if the conditions are right I get 100% success.

My money is on shock due to transplant.

Hope it helps.
