Clone help

Greetings all,
I need some advice. My plan is to put these clones into the tent and either flip immediately to flower or up pot these and veg for a bit then flip them.

They are currently 1 gallon pots using geoflora fertilizer.

I would love to hear anyones thoughts or ideas. Peace

Depends on how big your tent is. 3x3 id probably put em in 3 gallons and flip. If like a 5x5, toss em in 5's, and veg for a couple more weeks.
Its a 4x2 tent. Figured if I keep them in 1 gallon pots I would see how many i could fit in there. Then make the clones into mothers and keep them in the tub. Lol

I did an experiment....I topped two of them. What I think was a fim to one of them and the other two are untouched. They are Lsd strain....their mother is gently curing at the two week mark and smells amazing. Sampled some tonight and it was tasty.

I had not thought about training them any further. Things are a little tight in the tub. My rubber ducky is looking forward to getting his tub back.

I'd uppot and train them over.
Crank that main stem horizontal.
All the branches will point up and become upper colas.
Beautiful work Amigo. :thumb:
Hope your doing well.
River is wide open here, time to crack out the Rod.;)

think they are gonna need bigger pots to accommodate the flower stretch. they are in good shape for one gal pots.

Based on some personal experience I figure you can probably put 10 of those 1 gallon pots in a 2X4 tent and have a bit of space around each one. But, based on the same personal experience I think that you should be thinking along the lines of "how many plants that size can be put in a 2X4 tent".

Either way, whether you put them into flower right away or if you let them vegetate some more you will need more room than the tent will give you for the 4 plants in the photo. More times than I want to count I have read experienced tent growers on this site claim that the gardener should plan on a minimum space of 2X2 per plant. The tent has room for 2 plants whether the plant is from seed or a clone.

These days I would transplant each of them into a measured 3 gallons of soil. Not just a pot that is supposed to be 3 gallons, measure how much it will actually hold. Five gallons would be better but 3 will produce some decent plants and good quality and quantity if flowered if flowering nutrients are added.

As it is, the plants in the photos are already showing the early signs of nutrient deficiency. It can only get worse if they stay in those pots. Been there, done that.

Thanks Bill
Couldn't have done it without your expertise. That layering the perlite and potting mix is the BOMB.
Thats great news the river is open and you can wet a line soon.
Just got back from Puerto Rico. No fishing this trip. Charters are crazy expensive and the Ricans don't offer a headboat option.
Peace my friend.

Thanks smokinWings.....I'm gonna up pot them like you guyz are all suggesting.

Is it woth keeping one of the clones as a mother plant?

I really wish it was legal to grow in my state. Id love to put these little girlz outside and let them go. But thats a no go here. Maybe someday....

you’re growing organically. I would repot in 3 gallons minimum. I would then veg for another week to acclimate the plant in the new soil, then flip. That soil is your plant’s battery, you wanna make sure it stores enough juice to last till the end of flower with the occasional top dress and compost tea. If you were using synthetics, then the 1 gallon should be enough assuming the plant is being fed properly.

Yeah, if it's the only females you have. Take twice as many as you need. Keep the strongest as the mother, and flower the rest out for your next run.

Yes, that right there. I have settled on 2 weeks of vegetation for the most part with the occasional 3 week or 1 week plant. :) .

That there describes the next best soil mix to the elusive "water only" that so many of us have probably wanted to build for ourselves;).

Hydro, a whole new ball game. The 1 gallon garden could be along the lines of a Perpetual SoG Hempie:).
