Hi, I was watching a strain review for white widow on YouTube. It was by Green House seed co. At day 16 they said they did a big water flush then let the plant go dry for 5 days before watering again. The flush is ec 1.3 (low apparently, I don't grow hydro anymore and I have forgotten what are normal readings). Then on day 21 of flower they water with 1.8. They said this maximizes the potential flower. This is info from a pro seedbank. Is this true? I am right at the point now to do the same thing in my grow, but is it of benefit, supposedly it maximizes air to the roots? Would it only be applicable to hydro/coco, I am in organic soil?

Hi. Watering is pretty straight forward in soil. Let the pot dry out and then water. I judge by the weight of the pot. Look at the attached link. It’s a good explanation. I would not take someone’s specific actions on a grow as automatically applicable to mine.
