looks good to me my friend,
im sure you know this all ready but the plant is at peak thc at 100% cloudy, when the trichs start to degrade they produce more cbn which gives us the couch lock affect,
how ever i have found its more dependent on the strain, if you grow a strong indica plant then its going to have a nice couch lock affect at or before 100% cloudy trichs, also remember that their are some indica plants that wont turn amber at all,
i like to harvest around 20 to 40% amber, your first video you posted actually looks like it had some amber trichs so you could of harvested it then for a less couch lock affect, once the trichs start turning amber they then turn amber very quick so even after harvest the trichs will still degrade for a day or 2 giving you more couch lock affect, so if your not looking for a couch lock type bud then try something that is more sativa, the best sativa strain ive ever smoked and possibly the best strain ive ever smoked is the jack flash, its such a nice tangy fruity daytime smoke, if 1 person in a full room of smokers was smoking jack flash then instantly you would know someone was smoking jack flash, i grow because i use mj for medical reasons so prefer indica strains, but i also need a daytime smoke so do grow the odd sativa or mainly sativa plant, i managed to locate some jack flash on herbies site and purchased a couple of fem seeds, planted the 1 and put it in flower early to check if its still the same or similar to the jack flash i smoked many years ago, put it this way if it is then ill be growing more of it and ill be very happy indeed, ill be cloning it and producing my own fem seeds so i can keep that strain in stock.
now this might not sound nice but its got a sort of amonia cat piss type smell to it, but in a nice way, its the only bud ive smoked that tastes like tangy sweets, its such a nice smoke with no couch lock affect, perfect for a nice dayime time, ill be harvesting at 100% cloudy when the thc is at its highest, i wont let it go amber as i want to keep it as a sativa and have a nice daytime smoke,
so most if it depends on the strain, ive harvested plants at 100% cloudy and then let it go longer to 10% amber then 40% amber, when the buds where dried and cured the difference was very slight if any at all, tasted the same, the high was the same, i couldnt tell any difference to be honest and if the jars where mixed up i probably couldnt tell the difference between the 3, i may of just been able to tell the difference between the cloudy and the 40% amber buds but its such a close call and all was very similar, so from my own experience id have to say most of it is to do with the strain and not so much the trichs, if you want a couch lock bud then go with a skunk or cheese, im sure even at 100% cloudy they would still put you on your backside, so letting it go amber may be more than people actually like,
thc is at its peak at 100% cloudy so thats when the plant is at its best and ready for harvest, but thc degrades into cbn so it will have a slight affect on the end product but it wont be a huge affect so to me id have to say the strain plays a huge part in the type of high the plant produces, maybe with sativas a more amber trich % would make it more of a couch lock smoke but indicas are pretty potent at 100% cloudy so the extra amber is really not needed,
