Chksbak’s Phototron Grow

Well here goes
Phototron 3
Soil is a mix of
30% miracle grow organic
30% true living potting soil
40% organic perlite
Seeds are green crack feminized

Soaked seeds for 24 hours in water them into the dirt they went.

I first used a phototron back in the 80’s then again around 2000. This will be the third one I have used.

Looking forward to sharing my grow and hearing and advice

How did you come up with that soil mix?

the soil mix I just fell into. Not a lot of places to shop around here

Did you put them directly in the soil?

If so, they may take up to 10 to 14 days to show their heads.

I would put another cup around those or tape etc.
Roots dont like light.

Soaked in warm water for 24 hours then in the dirt covered 1/2 inch of soil. I’ll kill the lights thank you

All 3 seeds where duds, starting over with my last 3 seeds, will water soak them then into a paper towel fingers crossed these work

Well they second round of seeds germination went better I soaked until the had a tail, then into a wet paper towel until tail about 1.5 inches then into cups of dirt. Was only a day for them to spring up from the dirt. This is after 6 days in the dirt.

2 weeks thought they would be bigger

They look a little thirsty, but you have lift off.

Again roots dont like light mate.
I would cover with something thats not see thru.
Might find things speed up a little.

Hello @Chksbak great looking garden.
I agree with @Skunksta above.
Either cover the outside of the clear cup or sink it into the dirt below.
No light on roots at all.
Also hunger seems to be becoming an issue.
Do you have experience feeding a young girl properly?
