Hey Guys! We are back at it again! My two buddies and I officially started growing back in January with no experience and were able to get three harvests from our indoor hydro setup. We averaged about 1oz per plant so hoping to get those numbers much higher for 2019! I will be trying to maintain a journal this year and upload pictures; we welcome any and all tips and suggestions!

Thanks Stone! Saw some info you posted about RH. May need to add a humidifier to our setup as the RH is always pretty low. Ill be posting some pics here soon

Here are a few shots of the girls. Three Double Dreams and one 818 Headband.

Our last grow we harvested four of the 818 so these are clones from those. The Double Dreams I have had for a while they have been extremely slow vegging to the size they are now.

Our setup is one 600w HPS and an ebb and flow 2 gal hydro system. We also built these scrog screens over the weekend. Hoping they help with output!

Nutes are Emerald Harvest two-part . Any suggestions on additional nutes?

I don't have experience with that but looking at the leaves they might be getting a little too much. Can you get a pic of some leaves up close and make it full size so I can get a good look at them?

Definitely something going on in hose buckets. May be ph or over nutrients.

Here are some closeup shots. Also to note, up until about 1 week ago I was hand watering the plants. I was under the impression that my inconsistent watering may have caused some of the stress. I know my pH tends to rise so I will check that also

pH is about 6.0 according to the water test, my digital meter gave up the fight. Temps are between 76-82F and RH was around 25%. Ive added a humidifier and the best I have seen so far is 44%

Looking ok there. Rh is hard. 44 is way better than 25

So I added 5gal of water to my my 15gal nutes mix. I originally made it 75% strength. I might back off to 50% strength when I refill the reservoir this weekend.

Also I normally do two 15 minute floods per day; yesterday I added a third flood and noticed my RH got to 51%. I was thinking of doing four 15 minute floods a day.

Im not sure how to recognize under or over watering except for when the plant goes limp. And I feel like damage has already been done by that point?

I never grew hydro but I wouldn't let them wilt. Watch them closely, I think they will tell you if they don't like what you're doing. @Pennywise how often is too much?

For the size og the plants 4x per day is over kill. I would mix nutrients to 50% of the directions on the bottle. How far above your plants is your light sitting at?

I would raise that light to 24" for now, some of the damage you're seeing is most likely Heat/light stress.

Gotcha! Do you normally wait until flower to move your lights closer?

You can if they will handle the light, with the light a little farther away you'll get better coverage and penetration into the canopy.

You have a very powerful light. Might try seeing how they react at 24 inches before you get closer. Most of mine like 24 or thereabouts. I run led's and have around 600 watts.

Thanks guys! Diluted the nutes and backed up the light a bit. Trimmed a few dead leaves off. Wanted to go into flower by Jan 1, not sure if the screens will be fully weaved by then. Hopefully that week or the week after.
