CFL grow

Good day everyone
I'm starting a CFL GROW with two 80watt daylight cfl bulbs... Will this be enough wattage for my plant? How long should I keep it in its vegging state? When do I start flowering?could I use these daylight bulbs to flower aswell... My plants are already about 6 weeks old and I'd say they only about 4 inches tall. I'm growing some bag seed that I'm pretty sure is sativa

I haven't added no nutrients yet as I'm not sure what to get... Just started off with pot soil and water... Any other help will be truly appreciated

For one plant should be ok. Better to use 4 x 45w though. Just finished flowering a plant under cool white and wasn't ideal. Prob want to go with warm white for flower.

So how many watts should I go for when flowering?

I can't answer as I usually only veg inside. Prob 4 x45w and a couple smaller bulbs to cover the lower buds

Yeah I'm doing an indoor grow aswell... Thanks for the advice really appreciate it... Im currently doing a 16/8 on my plant... Can I go straight to 12/12?

I have much more experience growing outdoors so indoor lighting is really not my strong point. We have mad sun here so that's the best light avaliable.
Nutes you could use guanoflo or seagrow. Are you growing organic?

I initially had my plants outside in the sun for about 4 weeks but then the really hectic rain came and I feared losing the plants so I thought heck let me just try growing indoors

I'd keep them outside to be honest. Rather than rely on our power utility. As long as you have good drainage they will be fine and most likely thrive. Could always put them under cover if the weather is too hectic. If you are planning on putting them back outside start in a semi shade area and gradually give more sun over a week or so. Otherwise they might fry.

The thing is, I live in a complex with no garden space of my own, yes I do realise it's legal to grow plants for personal consumption so that's not the issue, issue here is that it might get stolen...

Also as I'm not sure on the strain Im growing, generally how long would it take for me to be able to sex the plant?

Thanks for all the great advice really appreciate it... One more thing, like I said my plants are about 6 weeks old and they only about 10cm they aren't growing that fast... Is there anything I can do to help get them bigger faster?

Welcome! You said your plants are about 6 weeks old from seed and 4” tall? I’m no expert, but I’ve been growing indoors for about 2 yrs. I started off with random seed I picked up from personal stash here and there so I’ve learned and still learning a lot. Personally at 6 weeks from seed, your plants should be atleast a ft tall by now, even without using any fertilizers. As far sexing goes, I’ve always had a plant show preflowers naturally between week 4 and 6 from seed. Males usually show first. It has never failed me. This is my personal experience ok, I’m just learning as well. Good luck!!

@bigmgrow7 I've got 5 plants in a 6 gallon pot... Do u think that might be the case? And if so what do I do now? Take out a few and see from there? Or start all over?

It could be bud. I’ve always planted mine separate so i can easily get rid of males. I’m sure the roots would benefit from being separated as well to receive a more equal amount of water per plant
