Carbon Filter Setup Suggestions On My Cabinet Grow!

The Phresh filter just came in the mail after work today, and I'm kind of shocked at how large the outer diameter is! It's freakin heavy too! Amazon did a fine job of not providing the correct dimensions. Are all 6" filters going to be this big? Should I return this and get a different one that is lighter and fits better? I don't even know how I would mount this thing. I'd have to fab a metal cross piece and bolt it on to the cab to handle the weight. Any suggestions are welcome lol. That's exactly why I advised you to put the filter and fan behind the cabinet.

As far as not getting the prefilter, shoot Amazon an email and they will make it right.

I'm for sure going to put the fan behind, but tomorrow I might try to fab a metal frame of sorts for the top and bolt it on. I'm thinking I'll try and mount the filter inside, above the LED, and duct it out to the fan mounted on the back, sucking the air through the filter. Still a lot to figure out.

Finally got around to setting all this stuff up. Turned out alright I think. Cable management is a must in the near future.

Duct fan sits behind the monster filter.

Thanks for the kind words guys! Yes SCROG would definitely be a good idea. They are autoflowers, so they only have roughly 3-4 weeks left. Is it too late to start training them that harshly? I've already been training them a little bit with those small wooden stakes.

Yes, I don't think they would get tall enough to cause a conflict. But would you recommend SCROG'n them anyways? Going to take some good photos later after work and post a thread in Indoor Soil Cultivation inquiring. Thanks for all your help btw!
