I've never bought a curing jar! We recycle all jars from large ones jelly to small olive ones.

I made an order with Herbie's yesterday and didn't even know they had a special going on.

The special pricing is for 24 hours for Black Friday only. It is GMT time, so something like 7:00 p.m. our time last evening is when it started on the discount price.

Well, besides walking away from (or trying to walk away with this full belly) a beautiful Thanksgiving feast, I managed to "pilfer" some Mason jars from my Mother. LOL Of course she offered them first, thinking I'm canning some salmon from the freezer.....
*Tee hee, giggle giggle...*

OMG It's like you're my long lost twin or something.

First thing mom asked me when she got here yesterday was, "Why do you have so many mason jars?" It's kinda odd because I think my mom wouldn't care or criticize if she knew I smoked, and she's probably the only person in the world who doesn't know, but for some reason, and I'm really old mind you this shouldn't be an issue, I feel like I'm 8 when I think about admitting it to her and just can't.

That made me laugh.... I moved out of home when I was 17. Dad comes over one morning, we were all asleep, lets himself in, then wakes me up and asks with a laugh "who's flower vase is that on the table,water needs changing", lol... I just said its one of those things that comes with the house...I didn't expect such a cool response from the church going straight laced guy he is...

LOL, I know what you mean about feeling a little wee-ish around Mothers'. My mother was quite supportive of this when she learned of it a couple years ago, and my pops as well. Problem with Mom is that she speaks before thinking when talking with people, "loose lips..." and all that. ;-) So when I started growing again I didn't tell her, only my Pops.
She'll figure it out sooner or later, but I know it won't have come from me and hopefully by that time this state will have voted for recreational use.



@Grizz, yeah ....I was totally shocked that my parents didn't have any issues with it. I feared that terribly. Surprise, surprise. LOL

heh heh heh -- my Mum has known for a while that I smoke (and that my brother smokes -- a LOT!) but I just told her last night that I was growing. She was so cool! She just wanted to know more about the plants and the research into cannabinoids and the difference between THC and CBD and terpenes and stuff. She was just fascinated partly because with legalization happening all over the place, there are more and more reports in mainstream media about cannabis and its effects and she's been hearing about it all. She's also fascinated because cannabis is such an ancient plant and has such a long history with humans.

She's 90 years old, by the way.

How frickin' cool is that? I am so proud of her -- I also told her that as we all get older if she needs some edibles or something for a particular symptom, I will be able to help take care of us. She was really into that.

Anyway, blah blah. Sorry for hijacking your thread! But I thought it was funny that I had just had that talk with my own Mum

Hi Brother dear, hope your holiday went well.

I was just gifted some "Pineapple Express", that is supposed to be high CBD according the breeder info.

This is the next thing on my list with my perpetual, organizing my seed supply on a spreadsheet or similar listing the specifics about them in regards to THC vs. CBD When I first started ordering seeds, the CBD content was not readily available on the specs with the breeders. Now, it's common for them to list the numbers. I love that!

The high THC strains will be going for the edibles that I will supply to my patients who prefer that, and the high CBD for myself and others who need that.

Before the end of December I will be ordering "Harlequin", and "CBD Critical Cure". I think there was one called "Phatt Fruit" or something like that as well. (Don't have the wish list in front of me at the moment) I also want to locate some Charlotte's Web. Any opinions on that one brother dear?

So, as soon as I get my THC vs. CBD spreadsheet done, I will know where I sit on that with the seed supply.

Doesn't it though? I am really looking forward to this one, it's for someone else. I'm going to take lots of pictures of the buds before they are harvested so he can see what they looked like before we do good things with it.

Yeah, from what I've been finding on the Charlotte's Web, there are a lot of fakes out there just taking the name.
It would be awesome to get the real thing.

Hey partner, I do the same things as you with the pasta sauce jars and such. I have jars everywhere, but had nothing bigger left.
Repurpose...something a little better than pasta sauce in them now.

I know, it's going to be at frosty Christmas at the Shawnee Ranch, for sure.....can't wait...! In planning for my new perpetual; I realized tonite that I need 1 or 2 high quality T-8's and TWO more LED's, oh my! Time to step it up until the law does away with the Medical Program in our state....then I will have to move...!

Canna, truth be told, I could not attend the family Thanksgiving yesterday....I have the flu and a cold, bummer, and couldn't expose my dad to any germs due to him fighting for his life over the past year due to his immune system.....they didn't go to FLA this year and it would have been the first time we had Thanksgiving together in 24 years....that's okay, 2 of my 3 bros made it and they were happy.....

You're a good daughter for sure. I would have stayed home as well to keep either of my folks from getting ill, they are getting up there in age...and my Hero (pops) only has one lung functioning as it is.
I would love to just put a magic blanket around their whole house to protect them from all harm and sicknesses....

10-4 on that parent love, Canna, they are my best friends and we talk about EVERYTHING....so cool, no BS....my pops, 86, and mom with altheimers, 82.....not long for this world but lives lived with so much love.....!
