Canadian Growers Group & Friends

My outdoor grow last year had plenty of time to finish...but I couldn’t do a strain that had a super long finishing time either. I’m expecting similar results this season
Those were last year :D This years girls were just over 11 feet going into flower and have a 7-9 week finishing time.
Nice tree!
The plant that donated the volunteer seed was a Bakerstreet, but she got ripped before I could harvest. I only got a couple of wind damaged branches the day before she was stolen. She had at least a week left to go, more like 10 days.

When I went looking in the spring to order, the site had been seized by the Edmonton Police! I had to make some quick changes in my plans lol.
just went to have a peek and my tails a waggin lol:yahoo: need to fly over to the seed stashers anonymous thread to let them know I’ve fallen off the wagon...again....hard.
Ssssh ... LOL I won't tell! ;)

Dude they'd need a dump truck to steal that plant, i can picture them driving away with that strapped to the roof of their honda civic.

Well I am glad I check “new posts” and found this thread.

NS here and just off the bay, been a hot humid 6 weeks here and the girls are loving it.

Cluster Bomb in a 20 gallon tote being fed 6g/gallon MegaCrop and taking 4 gallons a day atm.

And the garden girls (Blue Dream) in my old reamended organic indoor soil mixed with the local soil

Very nice trees Welcome aboard! :)

interesting,, @The Celt , to read about how much you feed,, i am a mega crop fella as well,, tho i am using up a lot of my pre m.c. ferts outside.

i just found it interesting to read your 'every day' bit, as i am finding it hard to keep up to my plants outside. they are so big and growing

and heya to the annapolis valley,, so fond of memories when i was a youngun

super beauty plants there as well,, so darn impressive,, karma for frost free days friend

Thank you @nivek :)

I am finding that outdoors, plants do much better in big pots when using MC. The 3 in 15 and 20 gal totes are great, but the girls I have in 5gal buckets really should be watered 2x a day as the top coco is dry when I go to water them.

And yes, being in the NE end of the valley really makes for good grows with the extended season, I can easily have plants out by May 1st here with no fear of frost Kill or damage.

It will be interesting to see how the Cluster Bomb in the 20 gal fed MC compares to my organic soil girls in the garden. She’s likely to be bigger than the one I grew 5 yrs ago that went in the ground a month earlier.

I really don’t know how big to expect the Blue Dream girls in the garden should get as I have never grown them outside before. I am impressed with them to date though. They went in the garden within days of the CB being fed MC and if left untouched, I suspect they would be on par with the Cluster Bomb as far as size goes.

Best guess, given past experience with Cluster Bomb, and size of the Blue Dream, I don’t doubt they will produce near 250g or more each. Fingers crossed for a relatively dry fall into October.

Howdy from the middle of the prairies
Looks like everyone is having a good grow
Nice that it is legal
Happy harvest to y'all !

5 gal outside , wait till you get serious bud that plant will drink and drink some more , your summer will involve alot of watering :surf:. I dont like anything less than 35gal outside just because of watering so much.
Blue Dream is awesome plant, little later for harvest, my experience late sept. Nice cold nights she'll get some nice colour on buds. I've seen 6-7 feet easy and good producer of lots of bud. it's one of my favorite party weed, people smoke it then won't shut the hell up. I haven't read up on your grow but i'm looking forward to mate, cheers happy growing.

Thanks @Mustang92 ,

The 5 gallon girls were just a “hmmm, got extra seedlings, let’s put them in buckets of coco, feed them MegaCrop and see what they do”. After just having lugged 14 gallons of feed and 14 more gallons of water to top off the reservoir, I won’t be using 5 gallon buckets again

Luckily, I have been off for all but the past 7 weeks, and off again now due to delays in contracts. Hurts the pocket book some, but having the time to tend my plants and work on the house has been awesome. For the past 4 years, I was running 70+ hours a week from May till xmas and had no time for growing or work around the house.

I doubt I will even bother with MC grows outside next year. I plan to get a greenhouse up over the current garden and will likely just do 4 monster LOS plants there again. This year was just experimenting with MC to see how it worked and for fun. :)

Like the sound of that MK ultra and purple wreck !!!! i think i need to go for a swim in cloudy lake!

Hey mate, that is a single giant pumpkin plant with 3 pumpkins on it, again, something just for fun lol and something I really didn’t expect to get so big  I had to cut it back as it was trying to climb my girls lol
I love growing veggie's, got huge selection of seeds: veggies and weed (seedolic). You got anything else on the go? I helped build a pumkin chucker(uses compressed air) we have huge pumkinfest in my area every year(not this year:() and launch them like cannon balls. I'm into peppers now and want to get some exotic fruit trees going next year, they seem like alot fun to try and keep alive in are winters. Alot of herbs& spice are must with any outside weed grow, help protect the plants and great for your baked pototoes.
