Looks like a seed pod, but did you find any pollen sacs? Look low down on the plant right at the node. If you don’t find any, chances are it was stray pollen from someone else’s crop
I'm with Celt on this one it looks like a seed pod to me, Look in my post pics on this thread of my cloudy grow or on dankmans.... pollen chuckers paradise thread... one of my pictures of my seeded plant looks like your picture. So might not be hermie like someone said could be a neighbors plant in the area that did it ... Nice free seeds for future grows :) Plus don't believe all the hype ... fresh seeded weed is fine to get good and high just make sure to clean the buds of seeds or well as we all know POP goes the weasel! :)

Herby Paisley did you have any frost last night ?? it was cold but none on windshield of car at 6:30 am. they say it will warm up now and be good weather for rest of fall, hope they are right:thumb:

Worked last week-end thinning out sucker leaves, hard to tell but i did thin them out.
I have some plants I'm checking now with microscope, thinking last week of sept and rest are early october or untill frost gets to much.
Have a neville's haze, amnesia, and acapulco gold that will be october and a sour diesel that is a long shot to finish, nov. Purps, black amnesia fast(not that fast), pineapple express #2, shiskaberry, nothern lights, blueberry, blue dream , and king tut are looking good end of sept. The white widow, g13, bubba kush, obinwan kush, and True OG are looking maybe 1or 2nd week of oct.

Nope no frost last night but temps did get a lil cool made my seeded girl go a lil purple :)

Hahaha! Thats awesome!!
No frost here in Niagara yet, was pretty damn close lastnight tho.
Brrr
Well bcarpenter24 I can give you a weather forecast of what your going to get or at least a heads up of what kinda weather your in store for... 4 days earlier cause I had the same scare on friday hence my paper bag trick.;)

We had our second night of frost last night near Kingston, ON last night. Was able to drive the weed wagon into the garage.
Gee's Konks I just realized your just up the road from me in Kingston and bcarpenter is just down the road from me in lake simcoe... lol The Ontario connection!! haha

Thanks guys for the reply's on the shed grow this winter .. I'm thinking in the pursuit of science and stupidity, I'm gonna try some crazy shit and see what i can push the limits with and achieve, Hmm maybe actually find a way to grow in winter outside too! ;)

Yeah im seeing some overnight lows with frost advisory.
Do you think large contractor style garbage bags would work just aswell on my larger plants? Or is it the paper itself from the leaf bags thats really protecting them?

I'm the one just north of Lake Simcoe - we got down to 3 last nite - the three gals in the greenhouse were cozy and the four outdoor gals are under glass cover up against a shed - One gal has many pieces are hanging out tho (much like myself when the covers slip a little)
I have fired up my wood furnace with little fires just to cure all the masonry and that helps in the greenhouse.
I have cut out a few chunks of bud rot so I'm hoping that the humidity drops now with the cooler temps!!!
contractor style garbage bags
I think it would be better to stay with paper - the worst chunk of rot was where the top was up against the glass roof and the condensation was probably the culprit - paper would not normally have condensation.

Oh damm then your just around the other corner.. lol , I'm near lake superior, you ever try fishing on that open water its like your on a small ocean out there aspecially when it gets windy and wavey!

No don't use anything plastic against the plant it won't allow the moister to escape the leaves of the plant causing it to freeze inside the bag and then your plant if not caught in time. Cloth, paper or burlap, covering allows the moister to escape well keeping the plant sheltered and warmer inside. what damages your plant with frost is the frost sitting on the leaves and stems of your plant. By creating a barrier for the plant to keep that damp cold air moister away from touching them they should stay safe and undamaged, but the material has to be breathable to the plant to stay alive. :)

Beautiful area, I was able to vacation around there six years ago, my mother in law is from Newmarket.
Wow talk about a small world I lived in Newmarket thats a nice place too, I liked how it had a small city atmosphere and yet downtown T.O. was just 45mins away. :)

Agreed, to be honest at the time I had no ambition to go, but we did the whole falls experience, hockey HOF, and simcoe area, and I was totally glad we went in the end.

I ment to add the reason I came up with this Idea was because i was watching a show where a guy put pipes under his grow soil area and built a greenhouse on top and heated it with a wood burning water boiler in northern Alaska with snow on the ground and -50c weather outside and inside a 20c, he was able to grow all kinds of vegetables and even fruit baring lime trees and lemon trees, So I figured if a man can do that off grid in the middle of nowhere, I should be able to do something similar and less costly here at home in my backyard.

My original Idea was to use the heating mat under the dwc reservoirs in side a tent inside an unheated but insulated shed size of it 12 x 16 a mini garage lol, The grow tent would be 4x4 with LED lighting, I was thinking because I won't be affected by the weather elements outside directly except the cold,That is the only issue, I thought about an oil heater but too chicken shit to try heating it with that unattended and the shed is not exactly up to code electrical wise yet for electric baseboard, plus that kind of heat in Ontario is expensive. I thought maybe propane but click click BOOM! no thanks. Anyone use those infrared heaters?.... puff puff break k.....

I thought as long as I can just keep the water temp warm enough not to freeze it could possibly work?... At night would the heating mats build enough heat in the tent to keep things warm enough till lights on? Cause I think that is the most critical time period for the plants staying warm during lights off out in that cold environment. I guess you could say I'm trying to build a micro controlled environment (grow tent) inside a small controlled environment (shed) well dealing with less then favorable cold weather outside. All well not breaking the bank to achieve winter herb! lol :) Thanks for any feedback again folks ...peace!
