Hello, I own a MM dispensary in Cali.
It is doing well but we are headed for quite a change in 2016 and following the legal movement of the other states. Most people over here are saying that we will follow the Colorado movement. Can someone tell me how the licensing process happened when it first became legal? I just want to be prepared when it hits Cali.
So first off, can anyone apply? Or did you need to already have a medical marijuana dispensary prior to the law change? Was there a set limit of number of licenses given out or did they give out as many as people applied?
Basically what I am trying to ask is who did they give the licenses to and based off of what?
