Can someone identify this insect?

I have 4little plants on my roof, I'm looking after them well but I don't know if there going to be male or female so I'm just waiting till they reach that point, any how I go up every day an at least one of the plants has this insect on the main stem!! It looks like a fluffy wood lice ?? What is it? How do I stop it? What should I use? Thanks guys
