Hello all, I have some plants that I am going to be putting outside in the garden around June first or so and a couple of the leaves have some issues going on. This is only happening on a couple plants. I am using coast of maine soil and have just started to give them some bio thrive grow on the weaker side. They have been in five gallon buckets for about three and a half weeks. I am sure they need to go in the garden at this point but just waiting on weather. I believe the one got too close to the cmh 315 light. One picture is of the top of the plant which looks healthy and fine. Any ideas whats going on with the leaves? Thanks all.

Whew that one has some chewed up business eh? Check for bugs or bug droppings on the underside of those leaves, other than that you could have some deficiency, cal/mag in the diet? Overwatering alone can cause great leaf yuck. Tough to say without more info on the grow. CHeers mate, gl! :yahoo:

I know when i put mine outside I had alot of bugs attracted to my plants ... the pic u showed is not very clear but i can tell u what i have used that worked over night

i made a spray with it and 2 times a week I spray the underside and tops of leaves thoroughly at night... dont do it during the day it may cause burning. This stuff is great for the plant too, mine react to it by the next morning.

Hello all, I have something going on with my plants but I don't know if it's anything to worry about. I have 9 plants that I just planted outside in 100 gallon pots that were in 5 gallon buckets and while in the buckets inside a 4x8 grow tent they started showing browning / bleaching. It is mainly on certain plants and not all of my plants. I don't know if the old soil lacked something or not. They have only been planted outside for 6 days. I cannot see any insects on them and it would seem if it was bug damage that it would have effected all of them when they were in the crowded tent. As you can see by the pics overall they look healthy. Any ideas? Thanks.

Looks like a couple of issues and some cool variegation.

There’s some sun scald - probably could have used a more gradual transition from indoor light to sunlight.

There’s also some apparent over-fertilization issue (dried tips) or drainage problem?

its all on the bottom leaves and a couple in the middle so the sun scald should be about done. Now they are in other soil so hopefully they will straighten out

Are you watering 2 times? In other words, when watering water once, then water again 30min a few hrs later to make sure of no dry spots in the soil. ( Rev's Organic Book) this solved my issue when I thought it was the light when in fact it wasn't. Adding a layer of Perlote at the bottom to wick up the water is great to( Again from Rev's book)
