Can I use an axial fan to directly cool my 150w HPS?

Hello everyone I am about to start my new grow and to sum my ventilation plan real quick, I have 4in. insulated ducting with a 4in. exhaust fan and a homemade carbon filter at the end. But I was wondering if I could put this 4" Axial Fan w/cord - 105 cfm | Exhaust Fans & Circulators a 4in axial fan literally on top of my 150w HPS Sun System to keep it cool.

Any help is really appreciated.

I don't see y not. Tyr it and see. 150W is a small light and shouldn't generate much heat (especially HPS). U can even use a regular 3 speed oscillating fan. I recommend at least 12". In the summer however. I wouldn't recommend this. If u do try an axial fan please do a review in our products review sub-forum under the Grower's Forum. Good luck.
