Can I put a carbon filter on this?

Hi, I just bought this powerful fan and I was wondering if I could setup a carbon filter on it and if it works?

Depends on how handy you are and how powerful that fan is but looks like at minimum it could remove some heat, Would rall look into an inline fan, they are made to do the job, That fan is made for free air movement, not being sealed on both ends and ducting being attached , My former fan died an early death to that. So I would say good for air movement but would looking into a 4 or 6 " inline fan to rally pull air through and you should be golden, Peace OG

What is the CFM? It might work with some sort of retrofit and if the filter is small enough for the fan to handle.

Generally blade fans just aren't able to move a lot of air if there is back pressure.
