Can bps and led lights be used at the same time ? I was wondering if you could supplement the hps with the led and would there be any benefit or would it harm the flower cycle?

How about this question can I go to HPS for the flowering cycle???
I live in the north central US and this winter has been record breaking cold and my tent has been 68 degrees or colder, The LED's just don't warm the tent and my vegging has suffered, I had a space heater warming area but the light bill almost nocked me out my wheelchair! I would have been saving money if I run MH/HPS!!! I now worry about the power & light investigating. Anyway can I go to HPS and start flowering or should I Veg. with MH for awhile before switching to the HPS??? Or does it not even pay to do this and just go with LED flowering??? I only see an advantage using LED's during the warmer months!!! PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE

You can certainly run your hps for flower, but if you start a grow journal, explain your setup, and put a picture of the setup, we may be able to find a better solution.

I can't envision there being an issue in switching from LED to either the MH or HPS. I wouldn't anticipate there being an advantage to "easing into" the transition by vegging longer with MH before switching to flower so I believe you can exercise you preference. If ready to flower, go for it with the HPS.
I hope it reduces your electric bill by eliminating the need for the heater.
