So its all hush hush at the hydro shop as to when and why but the what is that all canfilters, active air filtration systems, anything that has activated charcoal and is used as a scrubber or filter has been pulled from the shelves at one of my local hydro shops and I am told it is soon to follow everywhere else.
I am not sure if this is just in washington state or the whole US but I found a can75 today and snatched it up. The girl at my normal shop recommended going back to the other store and stocking up because they will be hard to find, gonna be like ps3 and xbox 360 at christmas lol.
I am wondering if anyone else has run across this bit of information or if I am the first? I would love to see a discussion on the subject so please chime in. Also if you need can filters in the seattle area guess who the new unofficial distributer will be!!?? Lawl

Haven't heard anything. Don't know why the supplies would get short. There's a lot of manufacturers out there.
They're also very easy to build.

Just discovered this myself last weekend. I was on my way to my local hydro and called them to check availability but was told the same thing. They have been discontinued but no reason was given as to why. Anyone else out there have a clue as to why WA st has an issue with these filters? Or better yet can anyone recommend where to find a stash of filters in the Seattle area?

Check out the new odorsok filters are actually quite good and the price is a fraction of the can filters only draw back is you have to run them thru the dryer every 2 months to refresh them by drying up the moisture they pick up from RH and also if they get a bit plugged from dust just wash them with clear water in your washing machine and pop into the dryer on max dry if you have a humidity control dryer or 80minutes or so otherwise and you will get a good year of use from a 350cfm odorsok for $60 longer if you only hook it up when the aroma starts to become noticeable outside the grow room. I have seen a few strains that dont produce an odor until after the first month of flowering and others that smell a month into veg so just pick up a couple so you have a back up and follow the use directions may be a bit more hassle but I personally dont mind a bit of work to save 200$

use dryer sheets guys it works quite well
