Camaro’s Clone Box

To get things kicked off we may as well start with the basics, let’s see this box I speak of soo we can have an idea of the enviorment things are happening in.. There’s a single 110plug that I wired up using 12/2 Romex wiring going into the main electrical box in the top center of the cloner box, from this junction box/outlet, it goes to the light switch on top of the box, this light switch controls the gfci outlet inside the box, the lightbulb outlet has its own 110 plug that can either be plugged into the timer on the junction box, or can be plugged directly into the outlet if going to be 24 hour light. The cloner itself has a drain line that gravity feeds down to a pump on the floor I use to move nutrients the different places it needs to go (veg, flower, cloner, or waste)

The start of the preparation to take some clones

Before I do anything with my fresh cutlings, I take the razor blade and make 2 cuts to give the new clone 4 places to start roots from

Then I give the 4 tabs a full dunk for at least 30-60 seconds of a really strong mixture of tap water and clonex solution before putting into the cloner plugs

After an hour of carefully choosing which cuts will be made where on each plant, and making the 2 cuts on each stem and pruning the new clones, we have 16 plugs full as new homes for now

And it is a full house for sure, what a great way to end out 4/20, blaze one up y’all :passitleft: I’m getting ready to burn one and go to bed :bong:

Latest update, starting to see signs of roots on multiple clones, things are starting to look pretty promising now. This is the skunk I cut that is taking root like crazy

A few days back I had trimmed the lower leaves from the clones, a couple were struggling to produce roots and this helped quite a bit, all have started to root although 3 are behind the rest. I’m still going to transplant today soo I can cut my next batch of clones though

I’ve lost track of my posting between this journal and my main journal and greeting new members, but the initial clones from this journal have been moved outdoors, and have been there for nearly 2-3 weeks now, new cuts have been taken and now rooted, today I thinned out the bottom of my plants and added more cuts into the box just for the hell of it, enjoy everyone!

Update for this journal, the babies are growing into monsters in the cloner, these are the same gals from the last post and you can clearly see how much they’ve grown and how happy they are now that roots have formed. Many have asked me how I keep a nice tight nose spacing while I’m vegging, as can clearly be seen in this little forest, the cfls in my cloner box are enough to promote healthy root growth for clones and once roots are formed I put 2 bulbs in the box and this prevents them from stretching. T8’s can do the same thing they just don’t fit in my little box I made.

I guess this thread has kinda died off, and while there are no clones currently in the box, while I’m waiting for my current crop to finish up (1-2 weeks left) I decided to start some new strains, the blueberry og’s have already popped as has the god berry, the jack herer im not holding my breath on as it was a dark seed and had cracked at one point during moving, will be nice if it takes but as I said, not holding my breath on that one lol
