I hear that you can control the ph of your soil with calcium and my question is does it make the ph rise or fall???

i think that might have been a myth, but i'll tell ya this, acidity bring down your ph, my buddy used to use lemon juice. or lime juice i dun remember.

Limewater and kalkwasser (KW) are one and the same; a very strong calcium saturated liquid solution.
It brings down ph. calcium breaks down fast and directly effects ph. It would lower it.

I only knew this because I was into reef aquariums before I took the lights off of the sto grow with. Hurricane Isabel took the power out for one week and $1500 live stock died. Now I do plants as a hobby mainly mj.
