I'm a 1st time grower my setup is in my closet.

AREA: 9ftx3ftx2ft= 54 square feet

Equipment:400w MH/MPS ballast(conversion type).
110 cfm exhaust fan
8 inch intake fan
3 inch fan( I clip it to the light to help with the heat.)

Growing Medium: I'm using MG( will be switching over to FF brand)
Temps: 70-85F (never over or under)

I read somewhere how to introduce C02 to your garden using yeast and sugar.

My question is when do you start them on C02. what periods of the day, how long, etc...

By the way they're in the VEG Stage 6 plants in all( 2 over 12inches tall the other 4 between 3-6 inches tall. light period 18 on 6 off.

Any HELP ?:yummy:

Is it a sealed grow? That small of a grow sometimes better to just open it up and air out. Helps to breath on them too. But you can go the yeast/sugar do 3 or 4 2 liter soda bottles worth. Won't hurt!

to keep CO2 high enough it will require daily additions of yeast and sugar... my hot water heater cant even make enough for my 6'x15'ft room. unless you are in a hurry just grow without the CO2

it gives you a 30% plus yield if not more. It has to be sealed and timed and controlled and vented at the right times depending on your setup. I wouldnt recomed the yeast/sugar deal. Its too inconsistent IMO. If your gonna invest in a generator then you need to set it up for that..anything is less is a waste of time. I do use a generator but I just use a timer to make it work. Ill buy a controller when I decide if Im going to add more lighting..which will direct what controller Ill buy.

i am new also but i have seen a big difference since i put 2 gallons of warm water mixed with 1cup sugar and 1 tsp live yeast in each gal and sit them with the plants. when the bubbles stop then change with new ones
