Okay people, I have a budget of $500. I want to get a secret jardin (unknown size), 250hps, Don't know what fans to get(intake, exhaust), What else people? Oh and this is not a hydro grow, just soil. I already have Foxfarm soil, Foxfarm Grow Big/Big bloom, and Ph equipment. Any advice is highly appreciated.

How do I set up the fans?

How many plants can be grown with a 250hps?

Whats the energy consumption on set up like this, how much of a difference in the bill?

What size tent do I get that can accommodate the 250hps?

So please tell me what specific equipment to get so I can finally make a journal and share.

Re: Build my Setup, please!!!

A lot of these questions can be answered by reading around on the forums. Compare what others are doing to what you have in mind. What kind of strains do you plan on growing? Is it going to be indoor or outdoor? Since your using a tent I will assume it's an outdoor grow. If it is outdoor I don't think fans would really help much because obviously it's outdoors. Sounds to me like you may need to do some more research, it's kind of hard for someone to just give you all the right answers without knowing all the details of your grow. Pics would be a big plus too. Good luck, I look forward to reading more!

Be serious. It's stressful enough researching for ones self (you may or may not be feeling this), so why would you expect people to just do your research for you?

When I first came here I started a few threads asking this or that…then, when I stopped being lazy, I realized every question that I could possibly think of was already posted by someone else; answered and debated leaving me to draw my own conclusions, so I didn’t have to waste time.

The cost for your tent is looking to eat up half your budget alone.

If you plan on buying all your growing equipment new, you probably don’t have enough.

Check out the grow journals. There’s several tent grows to choose from. Copy or improve on what you like.

Secret Jarden also has a complete breakdown of what equipment they recommend for what tent.
