Build a grow box on the cheap

I dont have a camera so I will have to explain in words. Go get 2 2x2's, 2 sheets of peg board 4x8, And some led christmas tree lights in red white and blue and what ever color you want to try. Build box out of 2x2's to the size you want and line inside with peg board. then glue renyolds wrap shiny side out to the inside of box. Then drill holes to the size of the bulb retainer on christmas lights. Then push each bulb into hole to where the bulb is on the inside of the box. Then cover out side of box with something to hide all the lights. Then put a small suction in preferably at the top with a small intake fan at the bottom. plug an electric strip in the wall plug and your lights to the strip and happy growing friends. If you want to go hydro then you know how to finish the project. But this basic plan can get the begginer started with little out of pocket.

P.S. christmas lights are 50 to 75% of after christmas. Just don't buy them from WALMART.

You must of drilled a lot of holes to set the bulbs. How many bulbs did you put in it?
Any chance of borrowing a camera and popping up a pic. Would love to see it.

I didn't have to drill holes they were in the peg board already, I just had to ream the holes out a little to make the bulbs fit. As far as pic's I wouldn't know how to get them to the sight anyway. I am new to computers and still figuring it out. I have already sold the first build to a friend. And he says his veggies look great, though he added an extra bulb hanging from the top because of the spindle effect he was having without it. Sorry no pics, I am really not much on technology. I will try to get something for you to look at soon as possible.

Oh, and I put 6 stands of bulbs with like 35 or 40 in bulbs in each stand.
3 whites 2 blue 1 red.
