Budswel + FF BB?

A friend of mine who has been growing since the 70s gave me a bag of this budswel 0-7-0. He said this shit was, well, the shit, and ironically, thats what its made of
He said however there is absolutely no reason to use it in conjunction with Big bloom and tiger bloom, he said just use it next time to mix in the soil.

Can anyone confirm this for me, that Budswel + BB + TB is unnecessary??
