Bud rot?

Hey, just wondering what your thoughts are on these pictures. The microscope wasn't very good sorry.

2 people have told me that it's not rot or mould but I'm not convinced.

It doesn't smell funny or anything.

Can't really see anything in the pics as they aren't clear enough. When you break a bud open is it greyish brown & kind of fuzzy looking ? If it is, it's bud rot.

It's not Gray, it's white and it flakes off the flower if I use my fingers.

I'm visually impaired so it's hard for me to say.
I've never seen anything like it in my 15 years of smoking. What could it be if it's not.

It could be bud rot. But first, Are you using a Humidifier at all that could be putting out calcium into the air ?
How close were the buds to the light ? Could be light bleaching also. I've had some Albino looking buds in the past from Light bleaching. Those buds wont get you high. Trichs are wasted.
Bud rot starts on the inside & works it's way out. If the center of the bud isn't rotted it's probably not bud rot in my opinion.

Thanks everyone for your replies.
A friend of mine had a closer look and said its fungus. She reckons I might of accidentally splashed some inoculation on one of the lower buds.

Thankfully it was only about 5 grams infected.

Looks like you got it sorted out. I couldn't tell anything from the photos... too blurry.
