thanx Roy - seems that my max is 3oz per plant...i'll take it
We could all grow Big Bud every time if it was purely about yield
I grew Thai and barely got an oz off it, Heavy Grapefruit yielded near 8oz but I'd still rather grow the Thai

gotcha....since I don't smoke and squeeze the buds for rosin for nite-time sleeping medicine mostly, I kind of like to have both quantity and quality...who doesn't...lol. I am also in a state that limits plant count so a little yield goes along way. I only get a little over a g when squeezing 6g's so kind of need some yield as it goes fast. I give most of the buds away to my brothers, nephews, friends to smoke. My current clone stable includes a cross between Sannie's Sugar Punch and Madberry, Sannies Sugar Punch, and Sannies Jack Herrer - all fem versions and quality genetics from Amsterdam. Am looking forward to some new strains such as jelly breath and sugar cane by in house genetics as well as some RQS, Solefire, and a few others starting next year. I prefer the learning and growing as opposed to the smoking - taking a seed and nourishing it to it's upmost and watching others enjoy it. I used to smoke but gave it up years ago when I quit growing (only started again this year as I found out it was legal and ended up with my brother's equipment after he passed from covid). So now that I have a little supply of rosin I can turn my efforts toward increased quality and hopefully decent yields...still as I am also restricted by plant count in my legal state.

branches were hung and dried for 4 days then paper bagged for a day then jarred and will then be burped until it doesn't need to be anymore. works best for me. I don't hang full plants don't have the environment for it. the buds are so thick and dense that it is more susceptible to mold if I don't break them down further from the start.
