Hello to all anyone here using these Bubblegen v1 in RDWC if so what pumps are you running? Just want to know if they are better than air stones and more energy efficient? And is there a way of working out the litres per minute of dissolved oxygen like the air pumps? Is it the litre of flow on the pump used on the Bubblegen ie a maxi jet 1000 lph = 16.5 lpm ish running at 13 watts, a Hailea aco 35 lpm using 18 watts.
If I am right I take it Bubblegen 1 used twice the watts give or take to reach the same lpm?
I know we are not taking major amounts of electricity here but I like the way the Bubblegen circulates the water around.
So anyone using them let us know the pros and cons ie do they block up? Thanks for now.
