Branch snapped

Hi gonna need some help on this one
Opened my tent today and one of my side branches was leaning against my intake ducting (thankfully)
Its snapped/split away from the main stem. Its still attached a bit, but not much

Ive supported it back up for the time being untill ive decided what to do with it
I'm 54 days into flowering on a 60 day strain. Usually let the 60 day flowerers go to about 64-67 days

Question is, if I leave it supported will it effect the last push on the buds? Trying to repair the break? Potentially wasting energy.
Should I just chop it off? and will that stress the plant during its last push?

I would wrap the break in duct tape. It will form a "callus" around the break.

Will it even repair before harvest though? its a pretty brutal split

Not sure. It won't hurt it, only help so I would give it a try. I have taped up some bad breaks and they have done fine.

Duct tape is pretty tough and hell to get off. I recommend masking tape better or break the branch off and allow the plant adjust and proceed.
