Space- 2'x4'x5'

Lights- 2x Global Star 300 LED's (around 260 actual watts) to be replaced with 8x Vero 29 D SE spaced about 10" apart. (Should be about 560 watt full blast) just waiting on potentiometers to finish the build and hang it.

Height of lights- Atm about 26" away from seedlings.

Method- Soil (Premium Organic)

Nutrients- This round I'm doing GH Flora Trio with a little liquid seaweed with good 'ol fashioned tap water that I let sit open for at least 12-24 hours.

Feeding regiment- Mostly keeping the feedings light at this stage letting the soil dry up a few inches down between feedings.

Strains- 5x Blue Dream Autos from Humboldt Seeds (Only because the photo seeds were out of stock) all in 5 gallon smart pots
1x White Shark (bag seed) just in a starter pot.

Veg/Flower- About a week from birth.

In an open room, absolutely needed. In a tent with highly reflective walls they are not needed.. You will get a much more even spread without them in the tent and be able to get the lights closer..
I did a very similar build..
16* vero29 gen 7 se 3500k 80cri
2 panels of 8 cobs
After seeing the cri comparisons, im swapping my 2 middle cobs out for vero29 2700k 90cri's..

I got my ratchet hangers in today so I threw the Veros up and wired them up in anticipation of the Potentiometers arriving. The Blurples are dwarfed by the new panel and probably a tad jealous.
I turned the new light on for a few seconds and I can only only describe it from memory since it melted my retinas and it was probably comparable to the light level ground zero at a nuclear test site.

First set of real leaves forming on the autos. Everything was a little slow to start because I wasn't certain on how far to have the light and basically slowly moved it until things started happening. And I have one runt that had a rough start and I had to perform a seed-section so it hasn't been feeding as much as the others who are already on a light feeding schedule.

The white shark seedling is starting maybe a day or two behind the rest.

So I couldn't wait any longer and went to my local guitar store and grabbed a 250k potentiometer and wired it to both dimmers as a temporary fix just until my 100k's arrive.

It's been running 2.5hrs and it hasn't spontaneously combusted so I think we're good.

I lowered it to just about 1 foot from the canopy and adjusted to dimmer to as close to 30% as I can by eye and rearranged all of the plants since they are no longer fighting for space under the Blurples which One still have running about 26" from the canopy.

I made a temporary housing for the potentiometer out of a solo cup.

Overall I've already noticed a huge positive response from all of my plants. Cannabis or not plants seem to love this light!

Today I've started lst for the blue dream autos.

I'm scared to top them since I've never grown an auto before so I'm going to train the shit out of them.

They have exploded with growth since I introduced the Cob light.

The only problem I've ran into has been discoloration in two plants, I'm thinking it was from under watering them because I waited a week to give them their first full drench.

The white shark seedling is strong, just transplanted it to a slightly bigger pot and it's roots were very healthy. Another week or so and I'll top it and try to root said top so I can flower it and see what we have.

The White Shark enjoyed a nice soak tonight and enjoys it's freedom blowing in the wind while it's neighbor's are tied up and tortured.

I've got the light dialed in to about 200 watts at 8" from my main canopy.

I'd slightly turn the dial, mark my cup and give it an hour to see how it was going and repeated until I noticed the leaves stressing then I bumped the dial back and bumped my light from 7" to 8" from the canopy.

I picked up some GH Floralicious the other day and as you can see everything has responded very well.

I've been training the autos everyday by either tucking leaves to expose nodes to light or gently bending them to where I want them to grow.

All of them have started to explode with new branches except for one, but I'm sure it should within the next few days since I just watered everything last night.

I have now switched to RO water as of my last watering and I've also built a 5 gallon dwc bucket that I intend to experiment with in the near future but for now I'm going to see what happens with various plants/vegetables.

I also ordered 3x Humboldt Blue Dream photos from Seedsman and got 2x Critical Kush freebies from Barney's so I'm pretty stoked on that. I'll definitely be making another order with them soon as the prices are good especially for them coming from the UK and the selection is phenomenal.

I'm definitely impressed with the Vero 29's thus far. It's been a week and I don't think I would've seen this much improvement as they seemed to be growing very slowly before. I'll be starting my next build within the next few weeks so there'll be lots of excitement to come. I'll be cloning and flowering the white shark soon as well to see if we have a mother or a father, next on Maury.
 
After receiving my order I'm very happy with seedsman. It took 2 weeks from order to receive, but I ordered Friday before Easter, they were closed Friday thru Monday. So really wasn't that long. I love the huge selection, prices are better than cks. Also got breeder packs, which is first time . I just love the British, they still wear fanny packs lol

This is my​ first attempt growing Blue Dream but it's one of my fav strains! I'll probably give autos another go after these are done. I made the mistake of planting them in hot soil, so my light feedings turned into PH hell and nutrient lock out and a bit of Cal mag deficiency. Flushed them all and now they're back on track, it's been a learning experience for sure haha
