Bluelab 716441 Combo Meter For Plant Germination

Hello everyone,

I am looking to import this meter from USA to South America, however, I have a few questions. I was reading the care and use manual for the meter, and apparently you need to have calibration solution and the storage solution.

I am having the meter brought in by a passenger who is flying, however, I am not sure if liquids are allowed on an aircraft, so can I use different liquids instead of Bluelab's solultions? I am almost certain I can buy calibration solution here where I am at.

What about the storage solution to keep the ph probe moist? Can that be replaced with another liquid? Again, trying to avoid bringing liquids in, if the TSA will confiscate them at the airport...

If you can source ph 4 and 7 locally they will work just fine so will the storage solutions.

I am going to see, maybe I'll just buy something local here. They have some good products, they're just a bit more expensive.
