Hi, i just got my bluelab ec/ppm meter and when i put it in my runoff it says 3000+?? This is not possible, i use quarter strength of the normal GHE flora trio chart. Any ideas?

Are you growing in soil and, if so, might it be adding salts of some sort to your runoff water?
I assume you have recently checked the calibration of the meter and verified that it is correct. If not do so.
Try taking your sample to an "electrically quiet" area to test. Lots of small electronic devices have poor shielding and, therefore, can be affected by EMF/RMI interference (and fans, grow lights, timers, et cetera are also often poorly shielded, so...).
