Blue dream auto stretch/lst/trim?

I have three blue dream autos going in soil. Right around 7 weeks old, one is 13", one is 10" and one is 9".

The tallest one is pictured, looks stretched out but not sure if this is normal for an auto. Should I be doing any trimming or LST with an auto and is it too late to start?

everything i have read says to not disturb autos as much as possible in the realm of cutting them. the people i see topping an quadlining them only do so around 14 days, if the plant has enough nodes by that point. anything you do is gonna slow down production which will hurt yields. id say LST them if you can but dont cut anything at this point

I have the opposite problem with my autos. The nodes are so close together it was very difficult to do even a little bending. A buddy told me to top them but I couldn't bring myself to do it. Strange animals these autos.
i am afraid i might end up in a similar boat. my autos just popped out of the perlite (hempys) in my veg tent. the photos in there look like this

some of the sides of the 3 leafers are going under the first node

may put the autos under the leds, dim them and hang them like 4’ up just to get a little stretch. i plan on starting the lst around 4 real nodes

That's an auto at 7 weeks?

Wow. (And not a good wow.)

In comparison, here are some auto's that are also in their 7th week:

See the difference? By looking at your plants, it looks like you need a lot more light.

Trimming and LST are probably the least of your worries. Get some light on them plants! :D

I know something's not right with them. I have a 600 watt light on a 3x3 tent.... Not enough? Originally I had just the grow light on but I also now have the bloom light switch on and that seems to have helped.

We have had a colder spring than normal and my garage is a lot colder than I would have guessed and they spent most of their first 4 weeks and about 55 to 60° temps

Temps too low will stunt them. And no, that "600w" light is not going to be near enough in a 3x3.

Here's a link to a true 250w light from one of our sponsors. They also have a discount code for forum members.
