Hello Again, Long time since I've been here, Last grow did not eventuate, We had an issue with our water pipes being 60 years old and made of galvanised steel.. needless to say.. Orange water isn't not a good thing, for both myself and my weed, So the owner decided to replace said pipes AND raise our rent by $40 a week before fixing the problem..., meaning I had to say good by the spindly little beast and my grow op for a cpl of months while we relocated.. BUT every cloud has a silver lining, No longer in a share house, just me and the missus now, settled in, got a separate area detached from the house, lockable and completely incognito, perfect for a stealth grow, Which I'm now going to tell you all about
So.. I was getting tired of the lottery that is bag beans.. dont want to have more than one plant going at a time as I can explain that as personal use(not that it'd go down like that but helps me sleep at night), So I trawled thru some banks and upon checking the sponsor page, these guys aren't in the list so I wont mention any names, but I will say they SHOULD be.. excellent service, but I digress
Anyway.. got me some feminised beasties, all made it thru with zero problems, the lucky candidates from my wishlist that got ordered were Barneys Vanilla Kush, G13 Haze, White Rhino and I scored some free reg's in the form of Big Bud and another Fem Northern Lights, So I've gone fairly retro with my strains, which I'm happy about, I selected what I consider to be some 'bullet-proof' strains, in that they've been around for a while, info is readily available for them etc etc.. but again I'm rambling
Current Grow
Strain : Barney's Vanilla Kush
Method : DWC Bubble Bucket
Nutrients : Cannazym Vege A+B, Cannazym Flores A+B,
Micro Additives : Cannazym Rhizotonic, Cannazym PK 13-14
Lighting : 130w CFL + 6 35w CFL general purpose globes as ambient lighting for lower sections
Straight off the bat, I've noticed a distinct difference in the growing power of this girl, genetics count for A LOT.. She's about 3 weeks into flower at the moment, Spent a good 2 months in veg, and it has paid off, Super thick stem's, a bountiful root mass (which I didnt photo, bit of a mission atm) and some of the biggest fan leaves I've ever seen.
Here she is at the moment.. she went thru a bit of defoliation today, and I've added a higher velocity air pump, as I think I might have the beginnings of root rot, I noticed the water getting cloudy and smelling like broccoli yesterday, also noticed at the same time that the air stone was well tangled in the root stock, and not delivering nearly enough air to the system, upgraded from 2500r/f pump to 7500r/f pump.. will keep an eye on it over next few days and do water changes as required

the result of some attempted tethering, managed to split the stem really well.. also managed to tie it back up with pipe cleaners and save her with little to no damage

not enjoying it, even binominal probability study didnt put me to sleep at 3am, but my mate has come thru with some 'red bull'(?, never heard of it but HUZZAH!!
