Hi everyone I'm new to this site but not new to growing. I recently tried setting up a Grow Journal on another site but found it way too complicated in general and especially to add pictures so i bounced outta there. Im glad I found this awesome place with all the good peeps doing what they love to do best. There are some sweet journals out there as I lurk around I see alot of interesting things and learn alot too in the process.

Like I said i started a journal and ditched it about a month or 2 ago so now I'm fairly far along in the process. The good thing about that is I took pics along the way so now I can share my current crop plus my new baby's coming on up which is what my Grow Journal is mainly focusing on. Thanks guys and I'm definetly here to stay....

BACKGROUND INFO-

STRAINS-110 Afghan Kush(gifted clone), 1Pineapple Chunk(Barney's),1 Sour Diesel(Loud Seeds),1Sleestack/Skunk(DNA)

SETUP- I run a 3 room rotation, my medical production License allows me to have 175 plants so I have 55(-+)/room. 7 1000 Watt HPS in flower room. 4 1000 watt HPS I'm Veg room. And just regular fluorescents for the clones which I will be cutting in a few weeks. I have carbon filter setup along with cold air in and 2 fans going in each room. Temperature is normal at 29-32C 86-90F. Humidity is 52-55%.

Nutrients- I'm using the GH Flora-series,Pureblend tea, vitamx n rootbooster,H2O2, Bud Candy(just bought it still deciding when to use).

MEDIUM-Kush I'm growing in Sunshine4 soil.
PChunk is a mixture of soil/coco,sleestack is CoCo/perlite as well as the Diesel.

VEG-55 kush plants are currently 2 weeks into veg at 17/7hr light schedule.the PChunk Diesel and Sleeskunk are 3 weeks into veg from seed. I germed the seeds Aug 28 and they were put into soil/coco Sep 1,2,3. So now all these plants are together in my veg room under 3 1000 watt lights and a fourth light ready to be turned on whenever is needed. I have 1 plant from seed that is showing hybrid vigour like I have not seen before. It is bigger than all plants including Kushes(clones) and 3-4times the size of the other seedlings its own age. I germed the seeds the same day I cut my kush clones..


FLOWERING-55 Kush are flowering at 3.5 weeks. The buds are looking fine and frosty actually fine would be putting it lightly. They are rocking!!!! The kush it seems I have 2 different phenos the plant structure , leaves and stalks look the similar but one is alot longer and the buds are narrower then the other. The stockier phenos buds look like a typical kush(fat heads, wide chunky buds) and fattening up alot faster. Taller pheno does look real nice though and the buds are longer and once it fills up will be super dank. Then there are plants that are somewhere in the middle of these two, tall but same chunky buds but with narrower heads. Fatter leaves like the stalky pheno but the plant is tall like the taller pheno. Anyways that a summary the pics will show you what I mean.

Thanks for reading this much so far, if your staying for the ride feel free to ask me any questions or even share any advice on similar strains from your own experiences with them would be appreciated. I've heard mixed reviews with the pineapple chunk and Loud seeds Sour Diesel so I guess I will find out for myself soon enough. The Kush is a proven winner as I know people who have grown some out before me, it's a big producer in every way. Good for commercial and dank enough for medical whatever meets your needs. Well done Sir for finding yourself here at 420 Magazine. This is the only site around of its kind worth a damn in my little opinion. Everyone tries to aid each other, with good fun had along the way. In short its just a well run community of warm, welcoming and ever helpful growers.

Your set up makes me want to cry! lol.

I'm very interested particularly as my missus is half American. Meaning I can make a permanent move over to the States whenever. I want to be doing exactly what you are now! This is a passion for me and want to grow for a living. Any info or tips you can give me about the process of getting to be able to grow legally in America would be greatly appreciated.

Right that bit aside, I really cant wait to see your pics and follow along eagerly. Your gonna get along very well here I'm sure.

Hey Light, thanks for the welcoming reply and interest in my journal. I'm actually not American although not very far from it. 45 mins from the American border but I live in Canada and am Canadian. In Canada I'm allowed to grow per Health Canada rules and regulations as a Holder of a Production license. You have to sign forms and havr a doctor to sign off saying you do need it for wtvr reason. It takes awhile for paperwork to be sent back and fourth but I received mine about 4 months ago. Before this I took a 6 year hiatus from doing what I love and now finally glad to be at it again. Anyways about the grow I was about to upload pics last night and got sidetracked looking at the "Creme De La Creme"thread. il be doing that now though.

I have a question.. When I post pics do I reply to my own thread and post pics plus updates as a reply? Or is there another way I need to do it? Thx

Ok so here r sum photos of my kush plants in wk 3 of flower. Just thought I'd get the good stuff out of the way then continue along with the Pineapple chunk, Sour Diesel, Sleestackskunk, seedlings and Kushs in veg room.

Pic3 is the taller pheno of the Hindu Kush growing. Slightly taller, buds are longer and the heads on them aren't as fat(yet). Pic 2 is my flower room and you can see most of the fat heads on the colas of the Kushs. Pic 1 is a panorama pic of the room using my iPhone sorry if pic isn't that great.

So as I have stated my Pineapple Chunk, sour Diesel and Sleestack are about 3 weeks old. I got the seeds online and germed them August 30, put them into there mediums (1 gal) pots for 2 weeks and last week they were transplanted into 5 gallon pots. The Pineapple Chunk is the smallest, Sleestack second and the Sour Diesel is a monster at the moment. It's 4 times the size of PChunk and 3times the Sleestack. I just turned on another light in the veg room(3 now) and they are coming along nicely along with the Kushs. All plants are in 5 gallon pots and I'm thinking about vegging them for another 2 weeks before forcing flower. That way I get a crop out every 4-5 weeks with my cycle.

This is my 3 plants from seeds. All were germed and popped 1 day from each other. Look at how ridiculous the Sour Diesel is growing, the other 2 are growing according to schedule it's just the Sour D is on another level. Great genetics I guess.

This is the same Sour Diesel beside one of my Kushs. All Kushs are about the same size. They are from clone about 2 weeks into Veg. I'm very happy with the progress of the kush clones they are bigger in every way than the last clones at the very same stage in development. It just shows how vigorous this Sour Diesel is growing. I pinched the Sour Diesel today. The Kushs will get pinched in a week. The PChunk and Sleestack are staying single cola just to try it out this first run. When I cut the clones for the seedlings my second run is when il get down to business, first run Is always a feeling out process.

Hi Blazematic, welcome to the site. Awesome setup and grow you have going. I'm subscribed for sure. In a grow that large do you ever throw down a scrog, top and FIM them or do you just let them grow SOG style?

So yesterday was a non watering day so nothing much went on. Tonight will be nutes for both veg n flower room il post on that later.

I really want to say though that I'm starting to really like the variety I have going on, each plant is unique and has something about them I really like, for example . The Sleestack has some of the tightest internodes I've ever seen in all my years, I don't know if its called Sleestack bcuz the branches r soo stacked but that's what my friend seems to think. It has just as many branches right now as the Sour Diesel being 3 times smAller though is pretty crazy. The Sleestack also is starting to come out with 11 bladed leaves, not just on a few leaves but all of the new ones.
The Sour Diesel as I've mentioned is such a monster plant, branches are huge leaves r big and the plant is very nice n easy to grow.
The pineapple chunk is the smallest of the seedlings but its starting to catch its stride I think.

Since I didn't have much going on last night I was bored n took some bud shots with my iPhone, the crystals on the Kush r getting so thinkly coated. I wish the camera would do it justice but its an idea of what's to come anyway.. I'm going to purchase a USB microscope n post some pics later this week.

Flower room will be 4 weeks on Tuesday.my hindu Kush is a 8 week strain so 4 more weeks to go. However with optimal conditions and lighting the plants may be ready sooner. The taller pheno could take up to 8-9 weeks by the look of it.

In 2 weeks when flower room is 6 weeks I will put my veg room into 12/12, so by the time I harvest , my current veg room will be 2 weeks into flowering by then. I will cut the clones before putting them in 12/12 and time it the exact same. Harvest every 5-6 weeks.

I'm waiting until Oct to order some new strains for my next cycle. I'm thinking of keeping 30 Hindu Kush,10 sour diesel,5 each of Sleestack n Pineapple chunk and that will leave me room for 15 plants. I'm thinking 5 new strains of 3 seeds each. Right now it looks like the new strains will be chosen from a list of Holy Grail(DNA),Sour Power(Hortilab), Purple Trainwreck(HSO), Sour Amnesia(Hortilab), Critical Kush(Barney's), and 6 free strains from the October promotion.. I will decide for sure by Oct 3 n make the order that day.

Ok so last night was feeding day. Nutrients for both rooms. Flora series with extra emphasis on GRO for Veg room, some Vitamax, a tea blend . Flora Series BnM, tea blend, bud boost for flower room.

I also sprayed a mite solution last night to kill off any mites just In case. I will do this once a week to the Veg Room plants before going Into 12/12 as a preventative measure. My friend who I received the Kush clones from had a problem that eventually took over 5 of his plants. But with preventative spraying both last cycle and now this cycle has stopped any mite problems from starting for me.

This week in the flowering room has probably been the most significant week, in terms of growth n development for the buds.

Well last night was regular feeding schedule with nutrients at Half strength. The Kush's(veg) r growing very strong.The smaller plants r catching up to the taller ones creating a fairly even canopy across the whole room. I will be adding a 4th 1000 watt light sometime this week.
The flowering room Is 4 weeks today and Im very surprised to be able to noticeably see a difference everyday still. Usually this late in flowering if you see your plants everyday it's hard to notice them getting any bigger one day to the next. But this week has been a very productive week for the ladies. Thc is stacked, room is getting that heavy pungent Kush smell. Here r some pics
