Stopping the federal government from prosecuting people in states with medical and recreational marijuana laws, that's what a new bill is aimed at doing.
The bill was just introduced to Congress on Friday.
Marijuana is still illegal federally.
The bill would clear up some of the conflict between the federal government and states where medical and recreational marijuana is legal.
The bill reportedly has bipartisan support from three Republican and three Democratic sponsors.
18 states, including Oregon, have medical marijuana laws. Two states legalized marijuana.
