Backpackin's Cherry Pie (Yummy) 2nd Grow!

Hey guys I have a current log going on my 1st grow, but since I set up the other room for vegging my new plants I thought I would set up another grow log for these guys.

Strain - Cherry Pie

Cuttings were taken on 7/2/13, so they are about a month old and booming.

I have them set up in a closet right now with T5 lighting to veg them until my flower tent is done. I have them in Hugo rock-wool cubes 6" with covers. I am hand watering them right now 1/2 strength Botanicare nutrients.

Below is a few photos of the girls, you can also see a small GSC in the cup, which I plan to use as a mother for my next grow (3rd). Anyways stay tuned for recent updates!!! Thanks guys~!

Just wanted to throw up a quick update on my girls. They are exploding with growth and getting full strength food now.

Update: Hey guys been kinda slow on the computer end, but thought I would throw up a pic of the Cherry girls. couple more weeks once my tangerine finishes these girls will be going into the flower tent.

Gonna be throwing some pics up in this log, This log will get rolling here pretty soon. Just waiting for my Tangerine to finish before I move my hydro table and plants into the flowering tent. Stay tuned for more photos coming soon.

Alrighty guys this is going to be my next active log and now it is up and running full speed. I will update photos and info as I go along. Got all the girls moved into the flower tent with the new flood/drain table all set up with timer and stuff.

Local garden store had Advanced Nutrients 50% off. scored sensi bloom A and B and a bunch of the other additives for cheap. Botanicare was gunking up my damn system with slime and sludge from that liquid karma bull shit.

Update: Week 3 of flower so far. Did my third change of my rez, this time I cleaned the sucker out spotless. I am now using Advanced Nutrients Sensi Bloom A&B along with Bud Candy, B52, Big Bud and Z7 for a water conditioner. I flushed all my plants with clearex then plain water while changing out the rez.

I like that the new nutes are PH balanced because they came out at a perfect 5.8 once all mixed up. I have my pump on a timer to feed for 30 minutes once a day, they seem to be doing fine. I can actually see the bottom of my rez now using the new nutrients! No more crappy buildup yay!

I have noticed alot more Trich's developing sooner with this strain. I hope it turns out to be super frosty.

One week of using the new Advanced PH perfect nutes I am starting to think that they are bull shit when it comes to hydro. The guy at the hydro store told me not to adjust the PH, but my PH keeps rising to like 6.6 ever day after it floods. I have been adjusting it back to 5.8 before each flood. Other then the PH issue the nutes seem like they are good so far have had huge growth in the past week, but plants always explode during the end of the 3rd start of the 4th week regardless so I am not sure.

I need to get some clones going soon or go buy some that way I can be ready when these bad boys end in 4 more weeks.

One of my plants leaves are yellowing. I am sure it is some type of deficiency, but it was doing this before I switched to the new nutes so its nothing new. I hit my rez with some Advanced Nutrients Revive a few days ago we will see if it stops the yellowing or if it will continue to get worse.

Anyways thought I would drop a update I will load some pics up here once the 4th week starts...

Very nice looking plants and excellent setup. I just harvested my cherry pie and GSC and I can't wait to try them.. Cherry pie will grow some fat fat buds! I'm subbed for sure!! Great journal so far!
