Looking good bruv. Always gonna have some algae on top with Hempy, it won't make it's way very deep and doesnt hurt anything.

After a bit of a slow start they really do grow a lot faster than soil. More like the speed you get from coco coir.
I haven't had a problem with gnats since I switched. It's really been a good experience.
Thanks Bill!Have you tried mosquito dunks for fungus gnats?
Might help you get rid of them until your ready to try something different.
If you go with Mel’s method you will get a good increase in growth speed.

Yeah, the algae won't hurt, I just don't like the way it looks.
It hasn't shown up yet in the Pink Rozay grow, but that one's in new perlite.
