Autos - Please help if you can

This is my first time to grow auto's. What I would like to know is, When to cut them down, how long it takes for them to dry and into the jars they go. I read that not all auto's pixels turn brown, so if that is true, then how do you know when to harvest? That is the biggest delima for now. Please help if you can. Thank-You I tried to upload some pic's, but the upload from doc's is missing for some reason. Really I have several pic's on this site. Anyway help if you can

For what you're asking, it's no different then a photo period plant. Harvest when the trichomes are where you want, the high you're looking for. Don't go by the pixels/pistols- i don't look at trichomes until my pistols are brown three quarters of the way down the plant. I've grown a lot of autos and breeder recommendations are typically right on. Not always, but mostly. So, go by that first, and check the trichomes, too. Happy growing
