Good evening everyone. I'm starting out with Auto's and Fast Auto's. Doing 4*4 Tent, 1200W full spectrum led, 6"ventilation. FFHP and FFOF soils.
Any recommendations for a newbie?

Welcome to the @420 Magazine family. Depending on how many plants you’re going to grow you’ll prolly need a bigger light to cover a 4’X4’ tent. But it’s fine for a couple of plants. CL

Well Im germinating 5 seeds. But as of now only 3 have cracked and starting to expose the tap root. So anywhere from 3-5

gonna be kinda tight, light wise, with more than 2-3, but you got to play the cards you’re dealt. See how it works. If you’re going to use a 4x4 tent I’d start saving for a stronger or second light. Best of luck, start a journal so we can follow along.

3 plants you might be okay but you will prolly have to rotate for all of them to get sufficient light. If you’re planning on doing anymore you’ll need another light. CL

I agree about your light situation. Your going to need a lot more--almost twice as much. I would study up on LST and training techniques especially if the strain tends to stretch or grow tall. I learned early on your light is the biggest expense and critical to growing good buds. Good luck!

auto's are a horrible choice for a first time grower. it's too late now.

your soil choice is good. have you got a plan for supplemental nutes yet ? fox farm is a complete system, would recommend adding the nutes they suggest to use alongside with the happy frog, and some cal-mag.

you're gonna need about one of those lights for each plant to get enough coverage. definitely consider a bigger light. i run 600w for five plants at present for an example. go by what the light draws from the wall not it's claimed equivalent.

5 plants in flower is gonna get loud and sweaty. you should plan for an extractor fan and scrubber. you will need to run an exhaust to outdoor. plan your space accordingly.
