An Australian man has been arrested in Indonesia for allegedly possessing marijuana - the fourth Australian detained in the country for drug matters in the past three months.
Andrew Say, 42, was arrested last Friday when police raided his home near the city of Medan in North Sumatra.
Police say he will be charged with possessing 60 grams of marijuana and the laws carry a maximum penalty of 10 years' jail.
Australian consular staff in Medan are assisting the man.
His detention follows the recent arrests of a Darwin man who allegedly tried to export ephedrine from Bali to Australia, another Australian charged with possessing several ecstasy tablets in Batam and the high-profile arrest of Schapelle Corby, who could face the death sentence if convicted over the importation of more than four kilograms of marijuana to Bali.
