Hi im new here and just wanted to keep a log of my grow. Simple DWC. Aussie Blues strain no webbed leaves pheno. Under one 180W LED atm. 5 square foot scrog. 400ppm PH 5.5-6.0.
At day 31 here. 7* and 16 branches. Tight for a Sativa.

I will be taking two clones from the lower most branches this Tuesday and putting in my dr40 tent under household LED bulbs for my next round. I will do two plants to fill the scrog quicker next time
Will have three UFO"s once they need it.
If i have any concerns atm it is that it is growing too compact, not something people normally complain about...

I might also add i went through a whole packet of girl scout cookie seeds and had failure for the last 6 months with this exact same system and coco and soil with the tips turning yellow from bleaching and plants becoming unrecoverable. I know it was the LEDs cause after a week in daylight they would pick up and then die again. So i guess not all strains like particular lighting. All i can say is if your having issues under LEDs, try another strain.

It has thickened out this week, but i think topping it and cutting its 11" fan leaves off slowed it down,
Reservoir changes are Tuesdays and photo nights are Thursdays, so i will keep a strict weekly update.

Was a long weekend here and I let it slide a bit. PH shot up to 7.9 even tho the ppm was 100 it messed with it a bit so did a Monday night reservoir change. Improved a lot in 24 hours. Added another LED to try get it branching out sideways. Temp has gone up to 27c/80f. Will be adding some ventilation and filtering in the next few weeks. Tossing up if i will persist with the scrog or not now as i have plenty of room and another newer 10 band spectrum UFO coming this week and planty of headroom left. Once i find my rooting gel i will take my first 2 clones...

Setting up the DR40 veg tent. Just one 43W CFL. Flowering takes 12 weeks with this stain so should be able to get one fair sized plant going in DWC in that time. Will take 2-4 clones and grow out the strongest one.

So the plan is to harvest one plant every 12 weeks. Figure ill start with an expectation of 4 ounces per harvest, and once i get to know this strains traits i will see how much further i can push it.

And my little Aussie battler at week 5. Looking pretty. Topped the two tops again trying to get it to spread some more. Still only 9" tall. Well was 10" till i clipped the 2 dominant tops

Im slowly bumping the nutes up by 100ppm per week. 500ppm this week but it sucks it back to 100-150ppm in 2 days. And PH rises a fair bit. Im playing on the side of caution but i would welcome some input from anyone with valid DWC experience.

Gave her a big hair cut cause it was just way to dense in there. Its a daily struggle with PH going up by 1 a day still. PPM is at 600.

Until i do a full grow from seed and a full grow from clone it is impossible to work out where i am going with this. Ill have many ideas and change my mind a lot so bare with me while i learn.

Going to take the PH down to 5.2 daily and see if i can get a swing of 5.2-6.2 each day. That would be a sweet range.
