hello snid and all!
that time again i need to ask another question :thumb:
iv got 4 nothern lights in a coco/perlite mix that i started flushing last sunday morning.
the last feed they day were a light feeding (boost, overdrive and bud candy) then flush.
theyve had a 40L flush and a 30L flush up to now, totaling 70L.
my tap water ppm is 107.
every feed was around 800ppm max.
the leaves are still green but the edges of them are yellowing of and the small bud leaves yellowing of faster.
found a few buds with bud rot due to small leaves dieng back into them.

whats peoples thoughts on chopping tomorrow?

what ppm runoff were there last readings that still got a great end result?

If you have to hurry you can boil the roots now and let it under the light for another day or 2. This fastens everything and can be done instead of flushing. If you have seen rot yet i would HIGHLY recommend to wash the buds with hydrogen peroxide in water right after harvest. let the buds in there for at least 2 minutes so it kills every bacteria and fungi so it wont spread. Afterwards wash them in distilled or RO water and blow clean air on them until they are dry like before you washed them and hang up to dry like usual. They will taste great after a week, trust me with that.

i dont no about boiling roots or anything, the only nutes they will have left is stored in there leaves, buds ect
have you done this before?
 
Yup. On my entire harvest first try. Got fed 5 days earlier, no flush. Worked out fine and was the one of the smoothest smokes

You put them in the bathtub or something like that and slowly water boiling water till you get plenty of runoff. You can protect the plant from steam but thats optional because it only fastens decarbing due to the heat. Make shure they are as dry as possible (steam) when you put them under light again and wash them in a mild H2O2 solution after harvest.

I had them under the lights for 2x12 hours. 2-3 light cycles was recommended but better just 1 day then more rot and no crop. You already flushed a bit so you should be good.

Grab H2O2 today! You can start spraying H2O2 on the areas arround the removed rot when you boil. Better then letting it spread.

1L of 3% H2o2 solution on a bucket of RO or distilled water and a bucket of just clean ro or distilled water. You can also use 4 bucket routine... 1 with water and h2o2, one with water lemon juice and baking soda and 2 buckets with clean water. the first 2 buckets can be warm, the rest should be room temp. Not too cold or trichs will break.

When you boil the ROOTS......well...the water should be still boiling hot when you water... Just water enough so you get 20% runoff... And be careful

any easier terms on explaining it?
just the boiling part of the pots
 
Just water them with boiling hot water...then put a fan on them to remove water from the rising steam thats now on the plants surface and put them back under light for a light cycle. You can put the pot in a bag and wrap it at the stem so the moisture is trapped for this time.
Done

The rest is simple bud washing with H2O2 (oxygenperoxide) which is in alot of products to kills mold and bacteria. Just use the pure version from a pharmacy or elsewhere. Use it at any time when rot appears... But do it quick. Budrot is a fast motherfucker
