Americans for Safe Access v. Drug Enforcement Administration, ASA's challenge to the DEA's denial of the most recent cannabis rescheduling petition, will be heard by the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit on October 16 at 9:30am. This will be the first opportunity in decades for a federal court to hear the full scope of scientific evidence on the therapeutic applications of cannabis.
To celebrate this day in court, we will be hosting a dinner the night of October 16th! You'll have the chance to talk to the plaintiffs, meet ASA's new board, and to celebrate ASA's 10 year anniversary! We'll also be honoring individuals who have fought to ensure safe access to medical cannabis, so you don't want to miss this event.
ASA's Ten Year Anniversary Dinner and Awards Ceremony will be taking place at the Mayflower Renaissance Hotel in Washington, D.C from 7:30pm-9:30pm. Tickets are $250 for admission to the dinner reception and awards ceremony, and $400 for admission to the intimate VIP reception taking place an hour before the awards dinner. We are also offering discounted prices for purchasing a full table (10 seats); please see below for all ticketing details. All proceeds benefit ASA.
