Arizona currently has 99 medical marijuana dispensaries, but Arizona health officials are looking to increase that number to support the 90,000 medical marijuana card holders.
Flagstaff is home to 3 of these dispensaries. NAZ Today talked with Mangers from several of these dispensaries. Chris Snowden-Santi, a Manager at 7 Wonders, A Kind Gallery, welcomes the competition if more dispensaries do open in the area, but doesn't see it cutting into his shops business. Ben Ahmann, a Manger at Green Pharms, talks about the benefits to legalized Marijuana and the ways people qualify to be a card holder.
The application process to open new dispensaries will begin this summer.
